Instruction DVDs by Lance McWilliams
Lance McWilliams: These DVDs are a wonderful way to learn basic sign at home. They are so convenient because you can watch them anytime or rewind it if you need a sign repeated. The whole family can enjoy learning together. It's a great tool for you homeschoolers too!!! Even babies can benefit from sign language because it gives them a mode of communication until their vocal chords are developed and they can speak. Studies show that children who sign are less frustrated because there are fewer misunderstandings. ASL is the 3rd most used language in the United States, so it is a very useful language to know.
Another wonderful benefit of having these DVDs is being able to see the signs in 3-D. It is difficult to learn sign language from 2-D pictures in a book. Each DVD includes open captioning so you know what word is being signed. At the end there is a section where there is no captioning, for reviewing. I pride myself on being a very clear and precise signer, so I know you will learn the signs correctly if you purchase my DVDs. I hope you will give them a try and enjoy learning a fun and beneficial new language!
