D-Link Broadband Videophone - DVC-2000
The i2eyeTM DVC-2000 Broadband Videophone is a full-featured desktop videoconferencing device with a built-in 5" color LCD screen. Since the DVC-2000 is a standalone device, you do not need a computer, display monitor or television set to videoconference over the Internet. A high-speed broadband Internet connection is required. One year warranty.
Create a home or small business network by connecting your DVC-2000 with the DI-604 Ethernet Broadband Router (HCDLINK-DI604). |
 |

D-Link Broadband Videophone DVC-2000 features:
- Built-in 5" color LCD screen and camera lens can be adjusted independently to accommodate your viewing preferences.
- Auto IP Mapping makes initiating a videophone call as easy as dialing a phone number.
- Instead of identifying your DVC-2000 by an IP address, you assign it a "phone number" of your choice. As incoming callers dials that number, the D-Link remote directory service (free of charge) converts it to your videophone's corresponding IP address.
- Since most home users have cable modem/DSL connections with dynamic IP addresses that can change every time they log on, the D-Link directory keeps track of the changes so that your call is routed to the correct videophone.
- Streaming video at up to 30 frames/second provides you with smooth, jitter-free video.
- Audio/Video Privacy and "Do Not Disturb" modes.
- Caller ID identifies incoming videophone callers. The Caller ID feature identifies incoming IP videophone calls from other i2eye videophone users. This feature is not related to or compatible with the Caller ID feature that may be available with your traditional telephone service.
- The DVC-2000 features a speakerphone mode that provides you with hands-free conferencing.
- Easy configuration setup wizard guides you through the entire setup process.

Consumers who are Deaf can make videophone calls by calling the Video Relay Service to use a VRS interpreter, or by calling another user directly. Any phone signaler may be used with a videophone to flash a lamp for visual notification of incoming videophone calls. With a phone signaler that transmits to remote receivers, you can be notified not just in one room, but in other rooms where the receiver is connected to a lamp or strobe light. |

| DI-624 2.4GHz Wireless Router |
|

D-Link 2.4GHz Wireless Router DI-624
The D-Link 2.4GHz wireless router with enhanced 108 features the industry's first default 108Mbps* "Dynamic Mode" that allows clients to always operate at the highest possible speeds while automatically identifying and recognizing other D-Link Xtreme G products for highest performance capability and seamless access to the wireless network in a homogenous environment.
If you are sharing your high-speed Internet connection with another device, such as a PC, you will need this broadband router or a home gateway to be able to use the DVC-1100 videophone and PC (or other device). The router uses five cutting-edge hardware-based compression technologies to achieve a significant boost in performance within the 2.4GHz frequency range. One year warranty. |
 |
D-Link 2.4GHz Wireless Router DI-624 features:
- Packet Bursting: This technique puts more data into a single transmission, allowing more raw data to be stuffed into each packet and as a result, creates less traffic on the network. It is the technique defined as one of the methods for performance improvement in the IEEE 802.11e QOS draft standard.
- Fast Frames: The fast frames technique enhances data throughput by increasing the number of bits sent per data frame and accelerating the timing of a data frame with a dynamic transmit optimizations. This technology enhances the Packet Bursting capability synergistically to provide accelerated performance results. The fast frames technique is also based on the 802.11e QOS draft standard.
- Hardware Compression and Encryption: The Atheros AR5002 chipset employs special engines to compress and encrypt data.
- Multi-Channel Bonding: Multi-Channel Bonding embraces two radio channels simultaneously. It collapses the available channels for increased bandwidth, and does not run single and double channels at the same time. This technology senses single channel and dual channel frames and negotiates time-based solutions with priority on single channel processing.
- Select Mode: Select Mode gives users the option of being in a Static mode (instead of the default Dynamic mode) for even higher performance within a complete D-Link 108Mbps* environment.
|
 |

Other features include:
- Cable Diagnostic Utility: diagnoses cable connections, indicating which Ethernet cable connected to the router has problems.
- Secure connection to wireless clients on the network using WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access).
- Compatible with existing 802.11b devices.
- Advanced firewall and parental control features: content filtering, filter scheduling, Network Address Translation (NAT) to protec the DI-624 wireless router and its users from outside intruders gaining access to your private network.
* Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11g specifications. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors lower actual data throughput rate. |
